Bob MacDonnell Photography | About
Welcome to my online image library - a sample of the thousands of stock photographs in my collection. I have spent more than 20 years working as a photojournalist in Connecticut, including 10 years as a staff photographer at the Hartford Courant. Early in my career I developed a keen interest in stories about natural history and the environment, and I began photographing birds and wildlife in my free time. Documenting the natural world quickly became a passion that has continued throughout my career. My work has been published in newspapers across the country and in magazines, including Birder's World and Living Bird, as well as National Audubon Society and Sierra Club calendars. I currently work as a freelance photographer and am available for assignments.
